What is a CCBC Internship?

A commitment of 10-12 hours a week (for 12 months) of practical ministry work under a specific Calvary Fellowship staff members of ministry head.

An opportunity to build up practical ministry skills and learn disciplines necessary for ministry and support positions.


What does an Internship require the student to do?

10-12 hours per week required service as specified and determined by intern overseer

Attend a weekly intern meeting

If attending CCBC, interns are required to attend the following classes:

  • Missions Week (fall semester only)
  • NW Pastors Conference (fall semester only)
  • Public Devotional Speaking
  • Discipleship
  • Koinonia

  It is NOT required to be a full-time student (15 credits or more)


Do I get to choose who I intern for?

Intern applicants may request a specific ministry head or staff member (intern overseer) to work with

Final decisions reside with the requested overseer and the CCBC Seattle staff


What are the benefits to interning?

  • Practical application of the knowledge gained through classes in a specific ministry
  • Building up of specific ministry skills
  • Opportunities to pour out into the church body in various ways

CCBC Seattle Tuition Discount

Full-time Student (15 credits or more) = 5% tuition break
Part-time Student (less than 15 credits) = 5% tuition break

CCBC Seattle works with local churches that students intern for who also provide a 5% tuition reimbursement for their services.
